Wedding Calligraphy: Nautical Navy Theme

Calligraphy for Inner and Outer Envelopes, $2 each

The latest wedding calligraphy project recently completed was a series of inner and outer envelopes in a beautiful cream color. The inner envelopes were lined with an adorable red lobster liner, and the bride I met with informed me that she would be having a nautical wedding.

After our calligraphy consultation, I looked at her outfit (she had a cute "preppy" white jacket with navy piping" and asked what she thought about doing a navy ink color for her envelopes. After showing her a few samples of the color from my portfolio, she excitedly agreed.

The envelopes turned out so beautiful! The paper was high-quality from Crane & Co., and came in strong cardboard boxes that allowed for easy transport and exchange. And for paper nerds like me (aren't all calligraphers some kind of paper nerds? With all the writing they do? ;) It was overall very exciting.
